The Process

How Gutter Cleaning Works

1. 01

   Walk the Roofline

   Before anything else, we walk the full perimeter of the house and look at every gutter section. This tells us where the worst buildup is and whether there are any existing damage issues we need to flag.

   Hand-Clear Debris

   We remove leaves, packed sediment, shingle grit, and anything else blocking the gutter by hand. Blowers move debris around — they do not get the compacted layer at the bottom of the gutter.

   Flush Downspouts

   We run water through each downspout from the top down. If it backs up, there is a blockage lower in the pipe that we clear before moving on.

   Check Gutter Slope and Seams

   Gutters need to slope slightly toward the downspout or water sits and eventually rusts or pulls the gutter loose. We check the angle and look for open seams while we work.

5. 05

   Report and Wrap Up

   We tell you what we found — anything pulling away from the fascia, sections sitting flat, or downspout outlets that drain too close to the foundation. You decide what to do from there.
